Graveside service for Erma Deloris Hester of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1 p.m. today at Oak Ridge General Baptist Church Cemetery near Aquilla. The Rev. Gary Cooper, a nephew, will officiate.
Family members may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Hester, 74, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born June 25, 1923, in Stoddard County, daughter of Charley and Victoria Pope Cooper. She and Ralph Hester were married March 17, 1951, in Piggott, Ark.
Hester worked 12 years at Elder Manufacturing Co. in Bloomfield. She was formerly of Dexter and Bloomfield.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Sandy Riehn of Cape Girardeau, Barbra McDaniel of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Vernon Cooper of Bloomfield, Eldon Cooper of Dexter; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, three brothers, three sisters, and two other siblings.
