Erline Whitesell

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Erline Whitesell, 86, of Chaffee passed away on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, at the family home in Chaffee.

She was born in Puxico, Missouri, on Nov. 28, 1928, to the late Cecil Lawrence and Esther Lillian Murdock Whitesell.

Erline was a retired machine operator for Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chaffee; Chaffee Order of the Eastern Star #48; Morley Order of the Eastern Star; the Chaffee Historical Society; and the Ladies V.F.W. Aux Post #3127.

Survivors include her brother, Frank (Juanita) Whitesell of Marble Hill, Missouri; two nephews; and one niece.

Erline was preceded in death by two sisters and one nephew.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Joshua Boley officiating.

Burial will follow at Puxico City Cemetery in Puxico.
