Erika Adams

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Erika M. Adams, 78, of Perryville died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at her home.

She was born Feb. 11, 1926, in Kirschdugen, Germany, daughter of Karl and Lina Henman Hans. She and Claude "Bud" Adams were married Aug. 28, 1948, at Kaufberen, Germany.

Adams was a licensed practical nurse. She worked at Perry County Memorial Hospital for 45 years. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Karl Adams of Perryville; a daughter, Linda Thieret of Perryville; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville from 4 to 8 p.m. today with parish prayers at 7 p.m. and the American Legion Auxiliary Service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue from 6:30 to 11:20 a.m. Monday. The Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday

Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
