ERICA BEST

UNIONTOWN, Mo. -- Erica A. Best, 90, of Uniontown died Friday, June 23, 2000, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born March 31, 1910, in Perry County, daughter of Martin and Sucanna Lueders Schuessler. She and Theodore Charles Best were married May 5, 1935. He died Feb. 24, 1960.

Best had been a residential care giver for the elderly. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Concordia Ladies Aid and Missionary League in Frohna.

Survivors include a brother, Victor Schuessler of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Ruth Meinz of Altenburg; and three grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a son, a sister and two brothers.

Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg from 3-8 p.m. Sunday and Monday from 6:30-8:30 a.m.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Concordia Church in Frohna, with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
