Funeral service for Eric Lee Field of Apex, N.C., was held Wednesday at Cary Alliance Church in Cary, N.C. Burial was in Apex Cemetery. He was a 1991 graduate of Cary High School, and member of Cary Alliance Church. He was employed at Emory University in Atlanta.

Survivors include his parents, Terry and Penny Field of Apex; a brother, Shawn Field of Durham, N.C.; a sister, Jackie Field of Atlanta; maternal grandmother, Irma Fisher of Festus, and paternal grandparents, Clarence and Ruth Jean Field Lange of Fruitland.
