EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Ercell M. DeBaun, 74, of Annapolis, Mo., formerly of East Prairie, Mo., died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at her residence.
She was born May 6, 1926, at the James Bayou Community in Dorena, Mo., daughter of Ted Floyd and Hattie Mae Lindley Bennett. She and Winifred Henry DeBaun were married Feb. 7, 1948. He died Dec. 26, 1982.
DeBaun was a member of the First Baptist Church in South Roxanna, Ill. She had lived in the Annapolis area 31 years after living in South Roxanna.
Survivors include three daughters, Lea Koenig, Donna Mann and Valda Click, all of Annapolis; three brothers, Ruben Bennett and Teddy Bennett, both of East Prairie, and Gene Bennett of New Madrid, Mo.; three sisters, Viola Garrett, Ruth Byassee and Alfreda Miller, all of East Prairie; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 5 p.m. on Friday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Martin Lucas will officiate, with burial in the Dogwood Cemetery.
