EMZIE A. MYERS

MARBLE HILL -- Emzie A. Myers, 80, of Marble Hill, died Saturday, July 6, 1991, at Bond Nursing Care Center.

He was born Jan. 1, 1911, at Zalma, son of Oscar and Nellie Gaines Myers. He and Elnora Marshall were married June 15, 1935.

Myers was a retired foreman with Mitchell Pallet Co. here.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Franklin Myers of Cape Girardeau, Kenneth Myers of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Lenzie Myers of Zalma; two sisters, Elma Brees of Cahokia, Ill., Ethel Myers of Zalma, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Nova Bond.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Naamon Eaker will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
