CHAFFEE -- Emory Charles Stacy, 67, of Chaffee, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born June 15, 1924, at Festus, son of Charles James and Ollie Dorothy McCormick Stacy. He and Maxine Marie Evans were married Feb. 13, 1953.
Stacy was employed by Kinder Construction Co. in St. Louis, retiring in 1958.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Carl Stacy of Cape Girardeau; five daughters, Linda Owen of Scott City, Opal Overbey of Leopold, Martha Little, Debbie Stephens and Vivian Bradley of Chaffee; a brother, Robert Stacy of Lemay; 14 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son, four brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Luther Thorne will officiate, with burial in Union Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
