EMMETT C. BERKBIGLER

PERRYVILLE -- Emmett C. Berkbigler, 88, of Perryville died Monday, Sept. 18, 1995, at the Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville.

He was born July 11, 1907, at Biehle, the son of William and Theresa Kirn Berkbigler. He married Anna L. Baer in November 1932 at Apple Creek. She preceded him in death Feb. 19, 1995.

Berkbigler was a retired farmer.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley A. Schrumpf of St. Louis; a son, Earl Berkbigler of Biehle; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today and from 6:30-9:50 a.m. Wednesday at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Vincent de Paul Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating.

Burial will be at the St. Maurus Church Cemetery in Biehle.
