PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Emma L. Wirth, 89, of Perryville died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 17, 1916, in Bollinger County, Mo., daughter of George and Clara Bangert Deimund. She first married Henry Loberg in August 1943. She later married Walter Roth, who died in 1976. She then married Sherman Wirth May 29, 1987, who died Aug. 19, 1990.
Wirth retired from International Shoe Co. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
Survivors include two sons, William Deimund of Rocky Ridge, Mo., Dewey Loberg of Godfrey, Ill.; a daughter, Janet Brickhaus of Jackson; a stepson, Kenneth Roth of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two stepdaughters, Maryland Baer of Monroe, La., Laverne Smith of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, three brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Thomas Handrick officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
