EMMA PENNINGTON

Emma Lee Byrn Pennington, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Dec. 22, 1997 at her home.

She was born in Cooter and was a former long-time resident of the Blytheville, Ark., area. She was a member of a Southern Baptist church.

She was married to Marvin "Bert" Pennington. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters, Daisy McGee of Cape Girardeau and Betty Webster of Swifton, Ark.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

A grandson and a sister preceded her in death.

Friends may call today from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville.

Graveside funeral service will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele, with the Rev. Raymond Oxford officiating.
