PERRYVILLE -- Emma L. Oswald, 93, of Perryville died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 11, 1905, at Farrar, daughter of Henry F. and Lena Detjen Lohmann. She and Walter C. Oswald were married May 26, 1929. He died Oct. 31, 1977...

PERRYVILLE -- Emma L. Oswald, 93, of Perryville died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 11, 1905, at Farrar, daughter of Henry F. and Lena Detjen Lohmann. She and Walter C. Oswald were married May 26, 1929. He died Oct. 31, 1977.

Oswald was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Crosstown.

Survivors include three sons, Wilbert Oswald of Kansas City, Alvin Oswald of St. Charles, Elmer Oswald of Perryville; a brother, Rudy Lohmann of Perryville; two sisters, Alida Villhard and Wilma Mueller of Perryville; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30-8 a.m.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Zion Church, with the Rev. Robert Schneider officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
