KELSO, Mo. -- Emma Jean Nichols, 84 of Kelso died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri. She was born July 24, 1936, in Cape Girardeau to Herman and Irma Robinson Schwepker.
She was a ECG Tech at Southeast Hospital for 30 years. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso and Ladies Sodality of St. Augustine.
She is survived by a son, David (Cheryl) Nichols of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Donna (Charlie) Menz of Kelso; a brother, Bob Schwepker of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Mary Jane (Larry) Dannenmueller of Oran, Missouri and Bonnie (Robert) Rubel of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, JoAnn Hinkebein.
Visitation and Parish Rosary was on Wednesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Visitation is also from 9 to 10 a.m. today at St. Augustine Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. today at the church with the Rev. Michael Casteel as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in Kelso.
