POCAHONTAS -- Emma Kieninger, 98, of Pocahontas, died Tuesday, May 3, 1994, at Deal Nursing Home in Jackson.
She was born July 12, 1895, in Pocahontas, daughter of Theodore and Minnie Ludwig Kasten. She and Arthur H. Kieninger were married Oct. 29, 1916. He died Feb. 6, 1981.
Kieninger was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, and a member of its Ladies Aid.
Survivors include a son, Nelson Kieninger of Cape Girardeau;; two daughters, Norma Mahannah of Cotter, Ark., Jean Petzoldt of Pocahontas; a brother, Oscar Kasten of Cape Girardeau; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Howard Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.
