DEXTER -- Emma Ireland, 86, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Saturday, Sept. 10, 1994, at Palmview Health Care Center in Port Charlotte.
She was born Dec. 25, 1907, in Warden, Ill., daughter of Edward and Emma Fenton Potts. She married Frank A. Ireland Oct. 6, 1924. He died April 5, 1974.
Ireland was an accountant with 3M Co. in Chicago many years. She moved to Clines Island in 1965 and then to Florida in 1979. She had lived in Port Charlotte since 1983, and was a member of Port Charlotte First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Kay Cline of Port Charlotte; a brother, Raymond Potts of Alpine, Texas, and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Friends may call at Watkins Funeral Home in Dexter after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. H. Worth officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.
