COBDEN, Ill. -- Emma C. Henderson, 81, of Cobden died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Jonesboro Health Care Center. She was born May 14, 1918, at Makanda, daughter of William E. "Buck" and Fannie Grammer Toler. She married Lawrence George, who died Sept. 8, 1975. She and Clay Henderson were married May 1, 1981, at Cobden...

COBDEN, Ill. -- Emma C. Henderson, 81, of Cobden died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Jonesboro Health Care Center.

She was born May 14, 1918, at Makanda, daughter of William E. "Buck" and Fannie Grammer Toler. She married Lawrence George, who died Sept. 8, 1975. She and Clay Henderson were married May 1, 1981, at Cobden.

Survivors include her husband; a stepson, Clayton Henderson of San Francisco, Calif.; and a stepdaughter, Sharon Sydenstricker of Washington, D.C.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Prather officiating. Burial will be in McGinnis Cemetery near Anna.
