ORAN -- Emma T. Clubb, 94, of Chesterfield died Friday, Feb. 7, 1997, at St. Joseph Hospital in Kirkwood. She was born Sept. 5, 1902, in Effingham, Ill., daughter of Joseph and Bertha Sporleder Laux. She and Leslie Clubb were married Dec. 26, 1922. He died March 15, 1952...

ORAN -- Emma T. Clubb, 94, of Chesterfield died Friday, Feb. 7, 1997, at St. Joseph Hospital in Kirkwood.

She was born Sept. 5, 1902, in Effingham, Ill., daughter of Joseph and Bertha Sporleder Laux. She and Leslie Clubb were married Dec. 26, 1922. He died March 15, 1952.

Clubb had worked at Webster College in Webster Groves.

Survivors include Virginia Leeser of Chesterfield; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, grandson, brother and sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ed Carter officiating. Burial will be in Friend Cemetery.
