PUXICO -- Elzo Theodore Parks, 90, of Puxico died Monday, March 30, 1998, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff. He was born June 22, 1907, at Sturdivant, son of Edgar and Wilda Wright Parks. Parks was a retired logger and timber worker. He had lived in the Puxico area the past 20 years. PUXICO -- Elzo Theodore Parks, 90, of Puxico died Monday, March 30, 1998, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

He was born June 22, 1907, at Sturdivant, son of Edgar and Wilda Wright Parks.

Parks was a retired logger and timber worker. He had lived in the Puxico area the past 20 years. He was a member of Puxico General Baptist Church and life member of VFW Post 7822 at Puxico. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include two sisters, Ida Fields of Puxico, Jewelene Taylor of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three brothers, J.D. Davis of New Madrid, Eli Davis of Puxico, and Clarence Davis of Dupo, Ill.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Puxico Cemetery.
