GLEN ALLEN -- Elzie Thomas Willis, 63, of Glen Allen died Saturday, Oct. 26, 1996, at his home. He was born March 1, 1933, at Joplin, son of Daniel Adair and Eva Ruth Foss Willis. GLEN ALLEN -- Elzie Thomas Willis, 63, of Glen Allen died Saturday, Oct. 26, 1996, at his home.

He was born March 1, 1933, at Joplin, son of Daniel Adair and Eva Ruth Foss Willis. He and Marlee Glover were married March 17, 1968.

Willis was a retired boiler maker. He was in the Air Force during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion of Newton, N.C.

Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Melanie Willis of Glen Allen, Brenda Mallet and Cindy Hurd, both of Oklahoma City, Debbie Janosek of Arlington, Neb., and Terri Karst of Ohiowa, Neb.; three sons, Wally Shillings of California, Johnny Willis of Newton and Steve Hildebrand of Omaha, Neb.; seven sisters, Margaret Spaeth of Marble Hill, Lillian Barber of Indianapolis, Betty Peterson, Mona McGrew and Nancy Vale, all of Logansport, Ind., Sharon Prince of Newton and Leanna Herbert of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Daniel Willis of Alba, Robert Willis of Chaffee and Paul Willis of Cassville; and 20 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, son and grandson.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Monday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Fred Ritter will officiate, with burial at Baker Cemetery in Marble Hill.
