Elza O. Seabaugh, 88, 1033 N. Fountain, died Monday, July 22, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born May 17, 1903, at Kurreville, son of Joseph and Minnie Haupt Seabaugh. He and Eunice Burke were married Dec. 30, 1939.
Seabaugh was employed in the maintenance department at Southeast Missouri State University 42 years, retiring in 1968. He was a member of Red Star Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Joe Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Caroline Seabaugh of Rockford, Ill., Faye Pind of Santee, Calif., and Jean Austin of Warrenton; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters, and a granddaughter, DeeAnna Pind.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Red Star Church. The Rev. Cy Smith will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
