CHAFFEE -- Elwanda Hawkins, 69, of Reno, Nev., died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998, at her home. She was born Nov. 15, 1928, at Chaffee, daughter of Harry and Ruby Hindman. Survivors include a son, Cal Hawkins of Reno; a daughter, Sharon Caldwell of Reno; three sisters, Betty Halter and Cybil Aiello of Chaffee, Twala Hansen of Florissant; and six grandchildren...

CHAFFEE -- Elwanda Hawkins, 69, of Reno, Nev., died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998, at her home.

She was born Nov. 15, 1928, at Chaffee, daughter of Harry and Ruby Hindman.

Survivors include a son, Cal Hawkins of Reno; a daughter, Sharon Caldwell of Reno; three sisters, Betty Halter and Cybil Aiello of Chaffee, Twala Hansen of Florissant; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.
