PERRYVILLE, Mo. - Elvis V. Schremp, 65, of Perryville, died Friday, Feb. 25, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born in Perryville on Nov. 21, 1928, to Arthur and Bernice Fenwick Schremp.
On May 6, 1978, he married Frieda Schremp. She survives, along with three sons; Ronald Schremp and Edward Schremp, both of Perryville, Tommy Schremp of West Frankfurt, Ill.; one daughter, Debra Webb of Patton; three step-children, Lawrence E. Young and Sue Inman, both of Chester, Ill., and Debra Henson of Patton;
Other survivors include three brothers, Glennon Schremp, Weldon Schremp and Howard Schremp, both of Perryville; one sister, Betty DeRousse of Dupo, Ill.; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and three step-grandchildren also survive.
Schremp was preceded in death by one son, two sisters, and one brother.
He was a truck driver and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m., Sunday, and from 6:30-9:30 a.m., Monday, at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
The funeral mass will be held Monday, at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, in Sereno.
Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
