SIKESTON -- Elva H. Skinner, 83, of Sikeston, died Friday, March 18, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 16, 1910, in Ragland, Ky., son of Charles Boyd and Laddy Bell Elrod Skinner. He and Ruth Ashley were married in 1960. She died Dec. 30, 1978.
Skinner was a retired boat engineer.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Foschi of Jackson, Mich.; three sisters, Floye Terrell and Gladys Francis of Sikeston, Dessie Baker of Reno Valley, Calif.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
