ELVA A. BREWER

PERRYVILLE -- Elva A. Brewer, 85, of Perryville died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 1994, at Perry County Memorial Hospital here.

She was born May 7, 1909, in Perry County, the daughter of William and Eulalia Prost Moore.

She married Clyde V. Brewer June 17, 1930. He survives at the family home.

She was a member of the Sodality of the Blessed Sacrament at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer.

Other survivors include one daughter, Margie Mattingly, Perryville; two brothers, Edgar Moore of Lewisburg, Tenn., and Vallie Moore of Peoria, Ill.; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, two sisters and one brother.

Visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m. today at the Miller Funeral Home here; there will be a wake service at 7 p.m. Friends may also call Saturday from 6:30 to 9:40 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer with the Rev. Felipe Martinez, C.M., officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery here.
