SIKESTON, Mo. -- Elsie Ada Wilson, 81, of Sikeston died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 12, 1919, in Paragould, Ark., daughter of Ed and Arizona Cook Wilcoxson. She and Elmer Albert Lee Wilson were married Dec. 22, 1935, in Paragould. He died Sept. 13, 1987.
Wilson was a nurse aide at Shuffit's Nursing Home. She lived in Sikeston more than 50 years. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include four sons, Bobby and Larry Wilson of Sikeston, Rayburn and Charles Wilson of Morehouse, Mo.; a daughter, LaWanda Keeling of Morehouse; two sisters, Omie Smith of Truman, Ark., Iwanda Layne of Jonesboro, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Blanchard Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
