ELSIE SUTTON

SIKESTON - Elsie Jines Sutton, 75, of 122 Winter Drive in Sikeston, died Friday Feb. 12, 1993 at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 3, 1918 in Sikeston, the daughter of Charles G. and Lelia F. Shipman Oliver. She was first married to Essie Jines and then married William Carol Sutton, who preceded her in death in 1958.

She worked as an antiquer for International Shoe Co. and was a former member of the General Baptist Church at Aid, Mo.

Survivors include: a son, Gordon C. Jines of Clinton Township, Mich., one daughter, Betty Stewart of Sikeston; a step-son, Bill Sutton of Overland Park, Kan.; a sister, Martha Hodges of Sikeston; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Nunnelee Chapel, with Rev. Jerry Harris, pastor of First Assembly of God Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Sikeston City Cemetery.
