MARBLE HILL -- Elsie Geraldine Smith, 75, of Marble Hill died Thursday, March 24, 2000, at her home.
She was born May 4, 1924, at Lesterville, daughter of Elmer Todd and Liza Copeland. She and Edward Smith were married July 12, 1946, in Nashville, Ill.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Sandra Boyer of Grassy; five sons, Bruce Smith of Marble Hill, Harold Smith of Farmington, David and Donald Smith of St. Louis, Edward Smith of DeSoto; four brothers, Ira and Charlie Kent of Marble Hill, Riley Kent of Festus, Raymond Kent of Grand Junction, Colo.; a sister, Lucille Smithee of Craig, Colo.; 22 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and a sister.
Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Gerald Huff officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery.
