ELSIE MAYFIELD

PATTON -- Elsie Mayfield, 72, of Patton, died Monday, Oct. 31, 1994, at her home.

She was born April 24, 1922, in Bermuda, daughter of James and Mabel Whitehead Woodmore. She and Eston H. Mayfield were married April 5, 1945.

Mayfield moved here in 1974 from Bermuda. She was a member of the Church of England.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Eston J. Mayfield of Patton; two brothers, Harry Woodmore of Newfoundland, Canada, Sidney Woodmore of Yorktown Heights, N.Y.; a sister, Edith Smith of Albany, Ga., and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 3:30-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Diana Cook officiating. Burial will be in Pulliam Cemetery near Marble Hill.
