JACKSON, Mo. -- Elsie Kamp Shafer, 85, died Saturday, June 10, 2000, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born April 16, 1915, at Tilsit, daughter of Albert Kamp Sr. and Nora Bodenstein Kamp. She and Ernest Shafer were married Nov. 28, 1954, at Tilsit. He died April 23, 1977...
JACKSON, Mo. -- Elsie Kamp Shafer, 85, died Saturday, June 10, 2000, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 16, 1915, at Tilsit, daughter of Albert Kamp Sr. and Nora Bodenstein Kamp. She and Ernest Shafer were married Nov. 28, 1954, at Tilsit. He died April 23, 1977.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, the Ladies Guild and the Joy Club of the church.

Survivors include four brothers, Earl, Elmer and Charles Kamp of Jackson and Albert Kamp Jr. of Burfordville.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
