MARBLE HILL, Mo. � Elsie Emma �June� Hendershott, 90, of Marble Hill passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, at her home.
She was born Aug. 2, 1928, in Zalma, Missouri, daughter of Mel and Emma Lasater Rhodes. She and Donald Hendershott were united in marriage Sept. 19, 1949, and he passed away Oct. 23, 1994.
June worked in the shoe factory and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her sons, Kelly of Marble Hill, Keith of Advance, Missouri, Roger of Advance and Randy of Zalma; daughter, Evelyn Birkman of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Norma Reibling and Doris Reibling, both of St. Louis, and Ada Mae Martin of Granite City, Illinois; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; sons, Ricky and Leslie; brothers, Carl and Junior; and sisters, Nadine, Christine and Dale.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Pastor Dan Overton officiating. Interment will take place in Dan Eaker Cemetery near Marble Hill.
