SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Elsie Fay Hazel, 69, of Scott City, Mo., died Friday, June 8, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Feb. 14, 1932, at Marmaduke, Ark., daughter to Henry and Ruth Brown Warner. She and Ernest Hazel were married Dec. 28, 1964, at Shawneetown, Ill.
Hazel was a machine operator for 20 years for Blair Industries. She was a member of Northside Gospel Assembly in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Richard Clark of Springfield, Mo., and John Clark of Scott City; four daughters, Georgia Wisdom of Rolla, Mo., Kathy Perkins and Sharon Davis, both of Scott City, and Terry Stearns of Burfordville, Mo.; two brothers, Orville Warner and James Warner, both of Cape Girardeau; a twin sister, Edna Carter of Scott City; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one grandson.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Winferd Wren will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
