ADVANCE --Elsie Lee Friedrich, 82, of rural Advance died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 1997, at Advance Nursing Center. She was born April 29, 1914, at Himmel, daughter of James R. and Mary E. McCulley Lee. She and George Friedrich were married March 12, 1934, at Bell City. He died Jan. 16, 1985...

ADVANCE --Elsie Lee Friedrich, 82, of rural Advance died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 1997, at Advance Nursing Center.

She was born April 29, 1914, at Himmel, daughter of James R. and Mary E. McCulley Lee. She and George Friedrich were married March 12, 1934, at Bell City. He died Jan. 16, 1985.

Friedrich was a member of Perkins Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Eddie and Bill Friedrich of Advance; a daughter, Lila Sitz of Advance; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Arvil Croy officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Bell City.
