ANNA, Ill. -- Elsie Franklin, 96, of Anna died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998, at Union County Hospital. She was born April 11, 1902, in Ullin, daughter of Calvin and Emma Boren Hale. She married Everett Dillow, who died in 1923. She later married Homer Franklin Nov. 30, 1957. He died March 20, 1990...
ANNA, Ill. -- Elsie Franklin, 96, of Anna died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998, at Union County Hospital.
She was born April 11, 1902, in Ullin, daughter of Calvin and Emma Boren Hale. She married Everett Dillow, who died in 1923. She later married Homer Franklin Nov. 30, 1957. He died March 20, 1990.
Survivors include her adopted family, Jim and Grace Stanley, and two cousins.

She was preceded in death by a daughter.
Friends may call at Crain Funral Home in Anna from 5-7 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Garnett Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
