ELSIE EDDLEMAN

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Elsie V. Eddleman, 87, of Dongola died Sunday, March 22, 1998, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born March 18, 1911, in Mill Creek, daughter of William Arthur and Lura Dillow King. She and Vivian Eddleman were married March 11, 1932. He died Jan. 28, 1997.

Eddleman had been a cook at Union County Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Burman Eddleman of Dongola; two sisters, Noma Heltenen of Sun City, Ariz., Anna Kohler of East Alton; a brother, Carroll Slusher of Roxana; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Burial will be in American Legion Cemetery.
