Elsie Loos Eaker, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, April 21, 2003, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo.

She was born Feb. 11, 1912, at Tilsit, Mo., daughter of Theodore and Pauline Sebastian Loos. She and Elvin E. Eaker were married Sept. 1, 1930, at Benton, Mo.

Eaker had been an instructor at Lowenbaum Dress Factory and was an avid seamstress. She had also been a cook on a riverboat. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and former member of the Ladies Aide.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Burl Medlock of Gordonville; a half sister, Bobbie J. Hamsher of Joplin, Mo.; three grandchildren and spouses, Jim and Kay Medlock of St. Charles, Mo., Scott and Karen Chadwick Medlock of Odessa, Mo., Julie and Roger Dale of Gordonville; five great-grandchildren, A.J. and Joey Medlock of St. Charles, Powell Medlock of Odessa, Chelsea and Jordan Dale of Gordonville.

Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel after 9 a.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at the chapel. The Rev. David Dissen will officiate. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jim Medlock, A.J. Medlock, Jordan Dale, Joey Medlock, Scott Medlock, Roger Dale and Chelsea Dale.

Memorial contributions may be made to Living Hope, 100 N. Frederick, Cape Girardeau.
