JONESBORO, Ill. -- Elsie Dillow, 100, of Jonesboro died Friday, Aug. 29, 2003, at the Glenview Terrace Nursing Home in Glenview, Ill. JONESBORO, Ill. -- Elsie Dillow, 100, of Jonesboro died Friday, Aug. 29, 2003, at the Glenview Terrace Nursing Home in Glenview, Ill.

She was born March 3, 1903, at Elco, Ill., daughter of Benjamin and Lucy Wareing Cauble.Dillow was a seamstress and schoolteacher. She was a member of the Elco Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Catherine Schmidtke of Des Plains, Ill.; a half sister, Ruth Basilio; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, a sister and three brothers.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at Elco Methodist Church. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, at the church. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.

Arrangements are under direction of Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
