ELSIE DALE

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Elsie Dale, 89, of Dongola died Saturday, Sept. 26, 1998, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born July 18, 1909, at Dongola, daughter of James A. and Della Jane Hoffner Holshouser. She and Elmer "Pete" Dale were married May 26, 1932. He died Aug. 28, 1992.

She was a retired store clerk and a member of First Baptist Church in Dongola.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, several cousins, nephews and nieces.

She was also preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Sadler will officiate, with burial at the American Legion Cemetery.
