PATTON, Mo. -- Elsie Marie Conrad, 86, of Patton passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at Woodland Hills Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 31, 1928, in Patton, daughter of Lester Benjamine and Nellie Jane Ruessler Wilfong. She and Arthur "Bud" Hartle were married Sept. 28, 1946. He passed away Jan. 21, 1967. She then married Truman Jack Conrad on June 20, 1969. He passed away April 7, 2011.
Elsie was a retired postmaster with United States Postal Service. She was a member of Patton Presbyterian Church and its Ladies Circle.
Survivors include two sons, Arthur "Bud" (Terri) Hartle Jr. of Frisco, Texas, and William Wayne (Karen) Hartle of Marquand, Missouri; a daughter, Phyllis Marie (Junior) Cook of Marble Hill; a sister, Shirley Mayberry of Sedgewickville, Missouri; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lester Junior Wilfong; a sister, Mae Blaylock; and two grandchildren, Teresa Ann and Kurtis Wayne Hartle.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Nancy Gillard officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
Memorials are requested to Jackson Senior Center or to Patton Cemetery.
