ELSIE C. JAMES

CHAFFEE -- Elsie C. James, 82, of Chaffee died Friday, Feb. 13, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 16, 1915, at Kurreville, daughter of Elick A. and Dora A. Bollinger Moore.

She married Carl E. James on July 1, 1939. He died Jan. 14, 1998.

She was retired from Florsheim Shoe Co. in Chaffee and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chaffee.

She is survived by a brother, Fillmer Moore of Chaffee, and two sisters, Veona Wooldridge of Chaffee and Arlie Nistendirk of Monticello, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitaiton will be at 10 a.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral will be at 1 today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Glen Golden officiating. Burial will be at Bollinger County Memorial Park in Marble Hill.
