Eloise Treece

ANNA, Ill. -- Eloise Treece, 92, of Anna died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001, at Union County Hospital.

She was born June 12, 1909, in Union County, daughter of Walter and Ara Rendleman Lamer. She and Donell L. Treece were married Nov. 23, 1930, in Anna. He died June 28, 1985.

Treece was an elementary teacher in several Union County schools, and was an educator at Choate Mental Health Center. She was a member of Evangelical Presbyterian Church and the Women's Association.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Shepard of Cobden, Ill., Dr. Donna Daisy of Greenville, Ill.; two sisters, Elizabeth Ballard and Estella Davis of Winter Haven, Fla.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after noon Sunday.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Steve Wilkinson will officiate. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
