JONESBORO, Ill. -- Elnora Ditto, 65, of Jonesboro and formerly of Cobden, died Friday, Jan. 26, 1996, at Jonesboro Health Care Center.
She was born Feb. 16, 1930, in Cobden, daughter of the late George R. and Mary Edith Leggans Pender. She married John Albert Ditto Jr. on Jan. 18, 1946, in Alton. He died Aug. 9, 1981.
She is survived by five daughters: Sheryl Steidley of Visalia, Calif., Pat Slayton of Redley, Calif., Teresa Delaney of Perryville, Michelle Hammer of Anna and Gail Hammer of Jonesboro; two sons: Gordon Ditto of Anna and Rodney Ditto of Fresno, Calif.; five brothers: Donald and George Pender of Indianapolis, Ind., Art Pender of Anna, Adrian Pender of Cobden and Charles Pender of Murphysboro; two sisters: Helen Ruth Royer of Murphysboro and Jhan Miller of Anna; 23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three daughters, a sister, two brothers and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Harner, pastor of the Anna Heights Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Cobden Cemetery.
