Elmer Wagoner, 92, of Jackson died Sunday, March 13, 2011, at Jackson Manor. He was born July 26, 1918, in Malden, Mo., to Aaron and Rilla May Thompson Wagoner. He and Ruby Jean Mason were married Dec. 16, 1939, at Bloomfield, Mo. She died in 1993. Elmer Wagoner, 92, of Jackson died Sunday, March 13, 2011, at Jackson Manor.
He was born July 26, 1918, in Malden, Mo., to Aaron and Rilla May Thompson Wagoner. He and Ruby Jean Mason were married Dec. 16, 1939, at Bloomfield, Mo. She died in 1993.
Wagoner was a mechanic with St. Louis-Cape Bus Line in Cape Girardeau several years, and later retired from Brooks Bus Line in Paducah, Ky.
Survivors include a son, James E. Wagoner of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister and four brothers.
Private services will be held with burial in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
