Elliott Erzfeld

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Elliott H. Erzfeld, 80, of Perryville died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2001, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 31, 1921, at Uniontown, Mo., son of Henry Ignatius and Rose Theresa Unterreiner Erzfeld. He and Mary A. Baudendistel were married Oct. 15, 1945. She died May 20, 1999.

Erzfeld retired as a janitor foreman at Gilster-Mary Lee Corp. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 1263, and Western Catholic Union.

Survivors include a brother, Herman Erzfeld of Uniontown; five sisters, Mildred Enke of Uniontown, Valeria Schloss and Rose Bueltemann of Cape Girardeau, Edna Wucher of Bridgeton, Mo., and Genevieve Leible of Apple Creek, Mo.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight.

Funeral Mass will be at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
