MARBLE HILL -- Ellen Wiley Propst, 96, of Marble Hill, died Friday, March 7, 1997, at the Bond Nursing Care Center in Marble Hill.
She was born Aug. 26, 1900, near Farmington.
She married William Wiley Aug. 22, 1916. He preceded her in death March 1, 1954. She married George Propst July 14, 1962. He preceded her in death Jan. 27, 1981.
Propst was a member of the Lutesville Church of God. She was also a lifetime member of the VFW Post 5900 at Marble Hill.
She is survived by a son, Thomas Wiley, Santa Monica, Calif.; three daughters, Hattie Plouvier of Jackson and Loveta Long and Marie Pyle, both of Marble Hill; 24 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, a brother and a sister.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gerald Huff and the Rev. David Jackson officiating. Interment will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
