DEXTER -- Ellen West, 91, of Dexter, died Sunday, Sept. 4, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Oct. 9, 1902, at Frisco, daughter of William Jefferson and Rebecca Elizabeth Riddle Thomasson. She and James Archie West were married March 3, 1922. He died May 15, 1947...

DEXTER -- Ellen West, 91, of Dexter, died Sunday, Sept. 4, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 9, 1902, at Frisco, daughter of William Jefferson and Rebecca Elizabeth Riddle Thomasson. She and James Archie West were married March 3, 1922. He died May 15, 1947

West was a member of First General Baptist Church in Dexter.

Survivors include a son, Charles West of Dexter; two daughters, Donna West of Dexter, Verna Blankenship of Webster Groves; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and three great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, and six brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First General Baptist Church, with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
