ELLEN CONRAD

JACKSON, Mo. 00 Ellen Bee Conrad of Jackson, age 74, died Saturday, October 7, 2000 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born April 10, 1926 daughter of Ira and Esther Seabaugh Crites. She and Leonard J. Conrad were married June 18, 1955. He preceded her in death Aug. 6, 2000.

Mrs. Conrad was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson since 1969. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #158 and formerly worked at Lakenan Insurance Company as a secretary.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Neil and Kimberley Conrad of Jackson; two granddaughters, Taylor and Heather Conrad of Jackson; three sisters-in-law, Reta Crites of Oak Ridge, Mo., Isabell Conrad of Jackson and Irmadell Conrad of Detroit, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel with Dr. Brian Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the First Baptist Church of Jackson or the American Legion Auxiliary Post #158.
