ELLA SCHLEGEL

Graveside service for Ella Emma Schlegel of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. today at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Larry Gallamore will officiate.

There is no visitation.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Schlegel, 92, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born April 14, 1907, at Dutchtown, daughter of August F. and Kathryn Ledure Schlegel.

Schlegel worked at International and Florsheim Shoe Co. 46 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include three nieces, Rosemary Soehlig of Jacksonville, Fla., Helen Maintz and Rebecca Illers of Cape Girardeau; two nephews, Charles Schlegel of Cape Girardeau, and Larry Schlegel of Chaffee.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
