DEXTER -- Funeral service for Ella Lois Roberts of Dexter will be held at 2 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. The Rev. Vyron Yount will officiate, with burial in Bloomfield Cemetery at Bloomfield.
Roberts, 71, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born April 21, 1925, in Collinwood, Tenn., daughter of George and Lillian Hensley Crawley. She and Carl Roberts were married Feb. 4, 1943, at New Madrid.
Roberts was a member of Second General Baptist Church at Dexter. She was formerly of Lilbourn.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Carl Roberts Jr. of Bloomfield, Danny Roberts of Dexter, Michael Roberts of Lilbourn; four daughters, Diane Warren, Donna Belcher and Cheryl Lasater of Dexter, Catherine Davis of Sikeston; three sisters, Iva Lewis of Baton Route, La., Doris Barker of Indianapolis, Ind., Marjorie Tamborino of St. Louis; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
