ELLA PETERMAN

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Ella Belle "Toots" Peterman, 72, of Carbondale died Monday, Dec. 20, 1999, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

She was born Jan. 26, 1927, at Marion, the daughter of Lloyd and Delila Jane Sheppard Baggett. She married George L. Peterman. He died June 26, 1998.

She is survived by three sons, Jack Peterman of Carbondale, and Mike and Lloyd Peterman, both of Makanda; a brother, Bill Baggett of Makanda; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Visitation will be after 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Wes Henson officiating.

Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Makanda.
