DEXTER -- Ella Fay Baker, 66, of Dexter died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 25, 1931, in Flint, Mich., daughter of John E. and Irean Arnold Robinson. She and Bill J. Baker were married Feb. 25, 1949, in Piggott, Ark.
Baker lived at Dexter most of her life. She attended the Assembly of God Church at Bloomfield.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Carolyn DeGroot of Gordonville, Linda Sams of Dexter; a brother, Clarence Robinson of St. Peters; two sisters, Della Green of Bloomfield, Doris Sitz of St. Peters; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Dallas Reagan and Charles Clark officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery near Bloomfield.
